    Kietech storage

I'm starting to keep a jig headed, damiki style Keitech tied on all the time. The packaging for these 2.8 and 3.3 Keitech drives me crazy. I figured there is probably a good reason why these are not just package in a bag like a pack of zoom worms, but does anyone store them like that? Or have a better way of storing them? It sure would free up lots of space to get them out of that plastic molded packaging. Thanks for the help, Clayton.

As much of a pain it is, the best storage is to keep them in the clam shells they come in.

Keep them in the original package to ensure they are kept straight and no bends. Use a small tote/rubbermaid container type you find at Walmart. I have a bigger one than what was shared since I carry a lot of sizes. I use something closer to this and just keep the lid off it and sit in my starboard locker: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite...8?from=/search

I keep most in the original packaging. But I do have a gallon bag with random Keitechs in. I have not had an issue with the bait being deformed or them not catching fish lol

Keep them in the original packaging for them to keep their shape.

I use soft sided tool bags to store soft plastics in and I can fit a couple dozen packages of swimbaits in one: https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-s...ets-61469.html

The pockets on the side of the tool bag allow for me to store mend it, pop rivets (for line through), and a small container for jigheads.

I keep them in their original package and just use these bags for storage. I basically carry 3 bags with me, one for scales, cull tags (which both are barely used ), pliers and leader spools, another one for toads and jig trailers, then another for swimbaits.

I keep each color and size in a sandwich size ziplock. No problem with bending or deforming.

I put all mine in a ziplock bag. If by chance I get one that deforms (which seldom to never happens), it’s a small price to pay for the convenience of storage. Those bubble packs absolutely suck.

I keep gallon freezer bags with my 3-4 favorite sizes and colors. I buy the by the 100 from a bud that makes clones. The rest I keep in the original packaging. Never seen a loss of shape from the bags, but I go thru them pretty fast.

Yeah the ziplock works just fine. Ever watch a Zona episode where he pulls out his gallon bag of Rage Swimmers?

I keep all my soft plastics in their original packaging. I use these bags from Amazon to keep everything sorted.
