NEW TO BASS CAT NEED HELP

i purchased a 2019 lynx with 250 mercury 4 stroke, wondering what is best prop for speed, i am coming from a phoenix 721 pro xp and must say the bass cat is a much better built boat in my opinion. i am using a fury 4 blade 24p, what came with the boat.

Depending on many variables, elevation, loads, power poles, etc, 23 or 22 Fury 3. prop it to achieve 6100 WOT under good conditions with a normal load,
Then send it to Ronnie Gilbert for fine tuning
    Thank You Leon Pugh

Look up Ken Smith on YouTube. He had a Lynx and covered the propping very well.

A 24p fury 4 blade is the worst running prop I’ve ran on my 2019 Lynx. A tempest is what I run on my rig ( runs 76-78 loaded tow guys fishing and will break 80 solo) a fury 3 is fast but doesn’t lift as well as the tempest, and a Bravo handles best but won’t have the top end. I’m running a 300 4st

I found some older posts and i think you run a 25 pitch Tempest, is that correct and what PVS plug setup are you using on the Tempest? Thanks..

Best prop for speed on your rig is a 24 pitch 3 bladed Fury, IF your load will let your turn enough RPM's on the 24

The Fury 4 is fine on that rig for big water and does give it some mid range lift. We like dropping a pitch or two and trying smaller propellers also as a 23 Fury might be great on that rig. Another good option is a 25 or 26 Bravo and we haven’t had opportunity to try the new Ventera yet, on that setup. The engines changed with four stroke and that hull was built to support the lower torque of a two stroke engine. There should be something to achieve what your after.
