I am assuming you are talking they are "slower" you are meaning a certain model Bullet. I am guessing a 2015 XD, or the XRD models would be the same speed as a 2023 XD or XRD models. Now a 1993 XD maybe a little faster than a 2023 XD. A newer model that really rocks is that 21ss.

Here is a new model thats not too shabby. I remember not too long ago that fellow hit 108 mph at a rally. I think he was in a 21SS. It was at a Allison rally if I am not mistaken. He broke all their hearts by over 1mph. Several butt hurt that day.

I can give credit where it’s due. They build a really good fishing platform and they have increased their speeds. Bullet’s XRS is heavier and somewhat slower due to weight increase and design with a more forward console than other model Bullets, but they can still fly. I just think they went a little too far with the slogan copy cat.

My Eyra with a 300R has seen 89 and some change. The Eyra hull was purposely governed to run below 90 and have better handling characteristics. Still not as fast as the Bullets but is trying to hang with the in crowd.

Not a basscat expert but isn't the erya a 20 footer? I would think he meant apples to apples , a 20xd would destroy any basscat equal power.

I’ve followed some of Elwood’s boats / videos. He is one of those guys that has the knack for wringing ever last mph out of all his set ups. He is a go fast guy at heart, but buys slow boats - lol

Bullets are "cool", And I still love my 20 year old boat. Some need to realize they are not the only "cool" boat.

They list it at 20"2". AV I would say you are correct VS a 20XD and I would say the 21' models also. I am betting the 21'10" XD and XRD XDC hulls also are faster. I really cant advise on top speed of the XRS. I think I remember reading some reports a few years ago where XRS guys with a little work had figured out the set on the new XRS hulls.
