Hi All
Can anyone tell where I can buy a new windshield for my 2015 RT188 with a single console. I have contacted my dealer and they were going to call me back but nothing yet, I am looking for a backup place to look.

I just bought a steering cable for my RT188 from them. It is made specifically for Ranger but they had it in stock.

I have boughten 2 from Ranger Parts. It's been a few years since I purchased one so I don't know if they still have them in stock. If you do call them they will want your VIN number. 1-800-724-7273

PS They weren't cheap. They were about $110 about 5 years ago.

PSS I think Bill's link is for a fiberglass 178/188. The windshield on my 2014 RT 188 doesn't look like the one in the link.

When I needed a replacement I ordered two through my local dealer and they were shipped direct to my house, took maybe five minutes to complete the transaction.

Have you tried Ranger? I have ordered several things over the year for 3 different Rangers I have had and always direct from Ranger (even a wind shield). I had a 2015 RT188 and got new seats from Ranger for it (2023 style) $1,250 which I thought was crazy but I did it anyway. Now I have a 2015 RT178 and it needed new seats. So I called Ranger and they told me I have to call a dealer. I did. There price was $2,200. They are the same seats as the 188 (just 2 small bottoms and 2 small backs). Guess the dealer has a big mark-up and/or prices have went crazy. So, I had them re-upholstered for $500. Anyway, I would try Ranger first.

This has been almost two weeks so I think I can ask....

What happened? I have had 4 Rangers and always called Flippin with my hull number and they knew exactly what I needed. I ordered two windshields from Flippin parts direct over the years. I understand the Tracker service is not the same since they moved the Ranger plant up there.

I do not need one...but I will soon if I keep the boat. I am just trying to educate myself on the new parts situation and what to do now. Thanks.

The first time I took my brand new RT out I was idling down a canal and one jumped towards me. I caught him with a right hook before he could get in or around my boat. I DO NOT recommend punching one of these slimy A-Holes. Busted up my knuckles pretty good.

What happened with this?? People tried to help you.... now you could reciprocate at least and maybe help others. ... I might need one someday myself... what happened???
