    It should be:

    Michigan Washington Texas Alabama

Most likely will be: Michigan Washington Alabama FSU

Undefeated power 5 has never been left out and neither has the SEC. They're not going to start either now.

I like that…but UGA is out, lost to #8 and non champs. Again if the committee is following THEIR rules, it’s Champ - Head to head - Common opponent

Bama cant and won't get in without Texas...the committee does not want another debacle like last year and fsu getting in as "deserving" will get hammered by whoever they play...they gotta good defense but that game tonight, their offense was to be desired...

FSU will be 2 TD dogs if they get in. Texas and Bama should be in, and if we’re being real UW gets run by any team that can run and play press coverage (UGA/Bama)

    Michigan
    Washington
    Florida State
    Texas

However I'm guessing it will be:

    Michigan
    Washington
    Alabama
    Florida State

No way Texas should be out if Bama is in, but I could see them doing this.

the only thing that mattered in that game tonight was the win.. anybody knows that in a game like this a QB3 and only a week to prepare is gonna be a major hill to climb.. they climbed that hill regardless of how ugly it was... The next games are a month away and QB3 probably shouldn't be considered.. Saban knows he has a struggle to get in,, he's already campaigning his ass off touting the SEC battle cry and even trying to take Kirby with him hoping the committee overlooks that little Texas thing....

If Bama gets in, they will probably run the table. Nick is really hard to beat late in the season. This is coming from a bulldog fan.
An 8 team playoff would have fit this years needs very well. The playoff committee has to leave out some seriously good teams, a no win proposition for the committee.

The final decision is what EPSN want, they are paying for it.. it’s all about views (the customers) and money (the commercials)

I think the way the selection process works it locks Texas into the top 3 - you can't put Alabama above Texas IMO due to head to head and they only lost to a very good OU team.

So it's Alabama vs FSU. If the selection process is done right precedent doesn't factor into the ranking in any way shape or form. It simply who is the better team? Alabama is not only the better team based on their wins (beating the #1 counts for a LOT) the ACC was pretty mediocre this year. Undefeated is hard in any Power 5 but if FSU was in the SEC would they have gone 12-0? No way.

Sorry but FSU is going to be this year's TCU, left behind even though they did everything they needed to do to get in.

Call me a homer if you want but the best two teams in the nation played tonight in the SEC championship. The best four teams are Michigan, Texas, Alabama and Georgia. If you ranked them in that order you would have a rematch of the SEC championship for the national title. Florida State will get beat by any team in the playoffs and Washington probably can't force two punts if they get in.

The only way to keep Georgia/Alabama from winning it all is to keep them out all together. If it wasn't for Clemson catching lightning in a bottle in 16 and 18 with two great quarterbacks it would be eight out of nine instead of six. Texas looked good tonight. Haven't watched Michigan/Iowa but Iowa really didn't stand much of a chance with their offense. When Michigan scored the first ten the game was pretty much over.

No undefeated team has been left out but also no number one who lost has been left out either. Somebody is going to be the first. I'm pretty sure I know who it's going to be.

I didn't make up the selection rules principles ..they're listed in print for everyone to read...that's not my opinion...
