You spend 76 million to get rid of Jimbo and these are the two coaches you go after?

I see where A&M hired the Duke guy.
I realize there is a lot of money there, but the program has never been at a consistent level of supremacy like “Bama, USC, ND, etc.
even to a UGA level from Richt until now. I think they have unrealistic expectations.

Huge miss letting the regents and donors talk Aggie out of Mark Stoops

Really thought they'd get Urban Meyer or someone from NFL

Agree. Nothing against the Duke coach, but to buy out a $76 million dollar contract for him…..jeez.

What are the predictions for the number of years, the $ amount of his contract the $ amount of the buyout and how many years he’ll be there?

Not a UK fan but why? He's made a winner out of perennial loser, basketball school, bad spot for recruiting, bad spot to get athletes period...in the SEC. That was a huge miss. I'm glad Aggie, Aggied that up.

I figured Kiffin would go there. I think he’s the only one with enough personality to not get eaten alive by their boosters. Maybe he’s getting smarter in his old age like the rest of us.

Looking at it realistically he probably was under a lot less pressure at Duke than he will be at A&M. Anything was an improvement at Duke. He us about to be under the spotlight abd under a microscope in a big way. More than 2 losses per year will get him fired quickly.

Mike Elko is a great coach. I knew when he started at duke he tenure would be short lived. He is going to be great somewhere. He’s a winner. A&M is a hard place to coach and have top tier success but if someone can do it it’s Elko. Gosh I wish he had came to Carolina instead of us having to endure Mack brown 2.0.

Mark, they were talking about Stoops not Elko.
