I need to have my seats recovered and that got me thinking that I could put in a heating mat under the Seat Covers to heat the seats. My car will force you to turn them down as they get too hot, that would be nice in the boat. I know Phoenix does this but is this a viable solution, I can figure out the batteries and everything else, just need to know if anyone has done this or not.

Yes they make aftermarket kits to put the heated grids in your seats. Have a buddy that had it done in his car. Not sure how much power they might draw, but it is doable for sure.

That's why I run custom windshields on everything. I may have some wind drag but my hands and face are protected as winter fishing is the bomb for me.
Some Stratos 201 pros use to have heated seats. I really didn't see where they helped that much myself.
Friend of mine had a Stratos 21ss with heated seats. There are kits online that consist of the upper and lower heat strips and a switch at the console. Not sure how much amps it will draw.
