BF200 Rigging sleeve, passing nema cable thru

I am sure there has to be away to get the nema cable connector threw the rigging grommet (Honda 40105-ZVL-900 Grommet, Case (Lower)). It looks to be a solid piece of rubber and may have to do a slit or drill a hole larger. I have never done it and curious if anyone else has and any tips.

Haven't done a Honda, but have done it on a couple of engines. It's hard to do on some and not on others. You need to push something flexible thru or a wire puller. You can attach a pull string to the puller or if it when thru easily may your nmea cable. One more tip if needed, get some dishwashing liquid and squirt in the tube or just lube the cables wells. Every little bit helps if it's a tight fit. Don't worry about the soap, it will evaporate.
