The fun will start this afternoon
I used the gallon of anti-freeze method to clean out. I would say next time I'll go with the old school method but there won't be a next time
Good luck!
Hold on to something firmly today. There'll be a lot pressure around!

GI Doctor gave me a good tip several years ago - mist spray bottle filled with water for the TP.
Who controls John Gill?
Grin and bare it.
Don't forget to keep your mouth open to give the Doc a little light to work with!
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments
Good luck and don't stray far from the throne.
It’s such a simple procedure I can’t believe some risk dying by not having it done!
The night of 1000 waterfalls.......

Prep is much easier today than it was 20 years ago. No big deal nowadays. Back in the day you drank a bucket of citrus nitrate and hovered over the toilet for a few hours then they bent you over a pomal horse and shoved a 100 W bulb on a conduit thru your large intestine until light shines out of your mouth. And you went through all of it wide awake.
Well thank goodness its not the pecker checker camera......thats not fun, because you are not knocked out!

My Dr had me take a cologuard at home test this year, easy peasy.
I had mine done 6 years ago and I was awake. I didn't have anyone to drive me home afterwards so I asked to not be knocked out. It wasn't bad at all. Kind of interesting watching on the big screen. Scared the crap out of the nurse that walked in when I said Hi to her. A bit of pressure going around the two bends but not painful.
