    Re-power financing?

Looking for some info from anyone who has re-powered with either a 250 merc or yamaha. How does the financing work ? What interest rates are available and length of loans? Thanks!

If credit is "great to excellent" try Lightstream.com. Great rates on "personal loans" for just about anything.

I financed half the purchase price of my dump trailer through Sheffield one time, and noticed on their website they work with Yamaha and Suzuki.

Line of credit on home / second mortgage.
not the best but lower rates and interest can be deductible.

No bite on 8.99% for 12 months. Better off loaning it to you than a CD. What’s your credit score?

I'd rather finance and pay a little extra over time than take $20k out of my bank account.

Not sure if that was directed at me, but is that not what a dealer or whoever is selling you the motor provides. They should readily have information, and can tailor that information it to your credit situation.... Something no one on this site can do.

A second for Rec Lending. They have gone above and beyond with financing and even bought buying issues with me. They’ve got great knowledge of the bass boat business.

Yup, all of my big purchases are financed. No shame in that and I bet way more on here finance than we think.

To the OP-Rec Lending was a joy to deal with. Don't think the deal could have gone any smoother for me and the place I bought my boat from.

If your credit is good lightstream is awesome. Obviously @bassfisher444 is correct…and living in Dave Ramsey’s fantasy land. I’ve taken the class. I finance very little…see my rehab post. But I’ve also seen folks never buy what they want (my dad) and die having never lived. Rich folks often dont have it all but they used debt to get there. I’ve made money using debt. Do what’s right for you bro.

If you’re purchasing from a dealer…they should have some financing options.

My dealer told me NOT to finance with their people because interest was double digits even with perfect credit. This was just a small mom n pop dealer that only sells one brand and sells A LOT of this one brand to people from all over.
