I had to stop at my dealer earlier today and they had the most stunning Phoenix color combo I've ever seen. It was pretty tempting but my '21 Skeeter ZXR20 is paid for and still looks brand new and is about as loaded out as a boat gets. Makes zero sense to trade it in. Plus prices these days are stupid.

My logic, If motor is still good keep the boat.
I use two buy every 18-24 months.
The boat I have currently is a 2012.
If anything happens, I will replace motor or sell.
Getting older, bad back, don’t fish as much as I used to.
My tournament partner for over 20 years has boat.. tad younger, and he likes to take his boat…..thank God😂

Dont let boat prices be depressing, use them as motivation. When I bought a bass boat years ago, I used that $40K price tag as motivation to quit smoking. Use today's prices for motivation to quit eating

I don't think it's on their site yet. It looked like it was just off the truck. I'll call in a bit and ask if I can. It was a six figure price tag. I don't "need" it that bad.....

I will say, if I was in the market now I'd seriously consider a 1-2 year old rig for a big discount. When I was looking in 2019 for mine, if you wanted a newer boat with a 4 stroke, prices were so close to new you might as well have bought new. Prices on lightly used boats have gone back down to earth a little bit.

Just sold my bay boat…tried the Covid asking price initially, no takers. I did eventually get exactly what I paid 4 years ago. So it was a win.
Wait till all the auto workers get a 20-30 % raise. Spending will go up along with Inflation. We will be back in where we were a couple years ago.
