Not looking to get my face on a Bud Light can but I am being transitioned from TD Ameritrade to Schwab over the weekend. I have some open options positions and was wondering how the Schwab Alliance platform is for using options. Curious to hear about it if anyone uses Schwab.
I need to stop deleting emails without reading them. Cause I haven't seen anything about switching to Schwab yet.

I think they are doing it in stages. Not sure why mine is happening this weekend but they are institutional accounts so that may be the reason. I thought if you used Thinkorswim they would transition later but I'm scheduled for this weekend. I'm going to print out all the positions and cash balances in case there is any hiccups. I hope Schwab gets Thinkorswim implemented soon though.Originally Posted by boneil

I did the last holiday. Takes some getting used to and am not as comfortable with Swab as I was with TD but sure it will in time. Think or swim is supposed to be coming but not yet available.
I really wish they would have just left it alone. They could have just acquired TD and let that be good enough and leave the platform and everything. I'm not looking forward to the switch
My account was moved in February. I do not do many trades. I have not seen any issues with the transition.

My story as well. I haven't spent enough time learning the Schwab platform, but I don't like the layout of the app as well myself. But I don't trade much so I can live with it.

It looks like my Etrade for the ESPP is now Morgan Stanley. Supposedly, my TDA account is going Schwab at some point in the future. It's crazy, I just left Schwab about a year ago and now I'm forced back lol....
