    2d images from my AT2

Here are a few images that I took yesterday showing how 2d looks just using the AT2 transducer. My HDS Live is a stand alone unit with only the AT2 transducer connected. The 2d images actually look pretty good IMO.

In your experience would you get AT2 ducer for this improvement in 2D alone?

No. I doubt that I will ever use 2d very much if ever at my bow. AT tell me everything that I really want to know. I was playing with this as I wanted to get depth reading on my AT screen. Allot of times I'm fishing in 40 to 50+ fow and usually keep my water depth on my screen to 30'. You may not need to do this to get water depth to show up as an overlay on AT. I need to play around with it some more. I added water temperature to my AT screen as well but it appears to be off between 5 and 10 degrees.
I really do think the 2d is pretty good.
I'm real!y liking my AT2, I've had both Livescope and Mega Live. For my open water style fishing I really prefer the AT.
Not sure what all improved from AT to AT2 as I never had the original AT.

Great pics! Thanks for showing how the AT transducer can do 2D... Definitely something I didn't know before.

What position do you set the transducer to get this sonar?

Both AT and AT2 are capable of displaying sonar, that is how both get their depth reading. I would not suggest using this as a primary sonar source as the scroll rate is very slow and while will show targets, many will be missing.

What frequency will that Sonar use?

I have no idea of the frequency.
Mark, yes the scroll rate looks slow but being that you are most likely using your trolling motor you are moving slower than you would idling with your big motor.
Not saying the AT 2d should be used as primary but most don't know it's even there.
Still say it looks pretty good to me.

How do you get it to display? Is it available as a source on the Sonar page?

The Active Target Sonar frequency is 200khz/800khz. Take a close look at the pictures on this thread.

I have AT with HDS Lives. There is not an option for using AT as a source for sonar.

Is this new and was it added as part of the recent updates?
