240 months so $154000.00 when it’s really your boat. Got to love to fish.

This is getting crazy the boats that are $85,000 have no poles and 2 graphs!! So the excuse that the electronics are driving it up is a straight up lie.

I paid nearly double for my 2023 Xpress with a 115 than I did my 2016 Ram that I bought in 2018. I bought now because it won't be long before a blue collar guy like myself is priced out of something more than a basic tin with two numbers on the cowling unless they're OK with paying on something for 15-20 years with no plans of early payoff. I like paying things off in less than 5 years so an X19 was out of the question.

Do you really need a 21ft boat with a 250 to go fishing?

Some on here think you do and anything less is unacceptable.

Used prices to. See boats in the 20 year old range listed for more than they were new.

The market produces to meet the demands of the consumer. People pay it, therefore it is the price. If they were not being purchased and sat at a dealership, the prices would come down. I cannot imagine how a boat is that expensive to make giving me the impression the profit margins are huge. And we are only talking about bass/fishing boats. Lots of brand new pleasure boats being bought as well. I just hope this is not part of the reason there is now over 1 trillion in outstanding credit card debt….

    I've had a 12'- 16' - 18'-20' and now a 21'---------- if Allison ever finishes his 23 I might have it.

I don't need it, but I want it... That's why boats are a luxury item and not a necessity (unless it's your business).

Have to factor in the average income a household brings now compared to 20 years ago. Gotta pay to play hahaha

Call your dealer and order your 21 footer with 250, and no electronic, standard battery's, and basic t/m. Now call and order with all the goodies, 5 12" graphs, mounts, cabling, 5 lithiums,36v t/m, maybe some ffs, and tell me it's not the electronics. You just went from 75k to 120k.

It would def be cheaper to add the extras yourself if you are looking to save a few bucks. But what do I know, I fish out of an 18 ft nitro from 2005 B.C.

You're at the 100K mark with a little less than what the OP rattled off...
    But the short answer, yes.

You don't need 5 12"graphs to fish any tournament, anywhere in the country, they're just trying to sell you as much as you can scrape up and let you finance your future away. Don't fall for it. If you really need them, you can add them gradually as you start cashing checks. Lithiums are nice, but you don't need them either!
