    Alpha repower

Not sure how many still frequent this section
But I was curious on 4 stroke repower reviews
Currently have alpha 211 with 250 opti
Looking at a 300xs and debating on 2 stroke vs 4 stroke..
I have zero complaints with the amount of hrs on my current 2 stroke with no issues
I have heard mixed reviews on the 4 strokes

I repowered my 2015 211R with a 250 4 stroke mercury had to drop down to a 23 pitch prop. I think I have around 359 hrs. on it. No complaints

I would say better fuel economy than the 2 stroke, don't have to buy the high-priced oil, in the winter I will put on a 24 pitch prop the boat will pus 75 + by myself my 2 stoke would never do that.
