    license plate bracket

2022 721 Pro XP, I have had the boat exactly one year, went out to put on the new license plate sticker and entire thing is missing, holder is sheared off. Any suggestions for a replacement that is a bit more durable and last longer.

Trailer OEM really should get a better design/product.

It is ridiculous. After i lost my plate I just bought an aluminum plate holder, cut it, drilled a couple holes and stuck rubber grommets in them and used large zip ties to make a hinge.

After many years coming back with bent or missing plates, I drilled and tapped the plate to my trailer frame.
It doesn't have a light above, but who cares.
    Problem solved.

I made 3/16 or 1/4" rubber thread enforced. Cut it out with knife. It's flexible and will not break unless a tear fender off. Been on there 7 or 8 years.

I have a SoCal for 4 years. Just removed it to put on my new trailer.

I made my own using an aluminum plate, with a a cut out portion patterned after the part that bolts to the trailer, and a piano hinge.

Lost mine about 2 years in. Got new plate holder and used a couple nylon nuts and used a couple heavy duty zip ties so the plate would swing free and not get bent up Been there for the last 10 years.

I just leave my plate in my back seat of the truck. 18 months no issues.
