charging 2-12v lithium

Probably dumb question, but..... If I have two 12v lithium batteries for my trolling motor can I charge them with one 24v charger by putting the positive lead on one battery and the negative lead on the other one?

yes it can be done, its best to charge indivually for better cell balancing but many of the charge on the run chargers charge in series , usually 24v dont have cell balancing issues
