    Airmar TM 150 or AI HD High/Wide?

    Picking up a S3100 module for my Carbons and trying to decide which transducer I should pick up with it. I currently use an Airmar TM150 for my 2D but curious if the new Ai HD High/Wide would be any better? I don’t care about the fish reveal features just strictly 2D sonar. I fish mostly less than 35fow.

    Lowrance and FISH REVEAL are game changers because the beam is 4 times bigger than current Sonar beams.

    Run SONAR and DOWN SCAN side by side with FISH REVEAL and see the difference.

    There is no reason to think that AI HD HW is a better option than your TM150M, quite the opposite.

    I agree with Kenny that what Lowrance has done before with HW has changed the game, it changed their transducer-game from pretty good to outright crap. A scary example of what happens when marketing dictates product development with no quality control from engineers.
