    Lake James?

What's the story with Lk. James? Can't find much about it. Is it worth fishing or are the lakes downstream that much better?

Any guides in the area for LM or SM?

    Thanks
    Dave

Dead sea had a rally there back in 2007 they can fill it in and make it a golf course.

There are plenty of golf courses up the hill from there!

My wife is from that part of the world and I wondered if it was worth trying to fish. I guess I need to expand my search.

    Thanks!

Got big smallies and LM in it. Can fish tough at times but its not short of quality.
I don't always find schooling fish but when I do I backlash on the first cast

Really fun lake in the spring and can be good in the winter. Tough every other time. Used to be the best smallmouth lake in the state but since some idiots put spotted bass in the lake it will continue to go downhill as far as a good smallmouth fishery.
