I don't like Jason Aldean either. Just crazy how people pick and choose what they consider "bad" when there's far worse that they won't touch because doing so will cause a way bigger feces storm.

TBH I think Aldean is catching to much heat for this. From what I gather he didn't write the song, nor did he pick the spot where that video was recorded, nor had any control over the video. He is just one of those types that Shooter talks about, he shows up in a big hat and sings.
The song isn't bad, its a little cliche but what country song isn't anymore. I have been to areas in Tennessee much like where this video was shot. The people there have always been very friendly and respectful of one another. There is nothing wrong with that message.
The issue is if that location has the history that's being said, there is another perspective that needs to be considered and another message that is being relayed to some.
Why give a chit one way or another? Not a huge fan of Aldean but don’t mind this new song. Like it, listen to it and if you don’t like it, don’t listen to it. It’s just a song.
