    Bass Club Members

    Curious:

In clubs that some members have some type of live sonar, and others don't; do those with the live sonar tend to dominate?

Do any clubs restrict live sonars?

I never backlash, but each time I go fishing I practice fixing them, just in case I ever do really backlash.

No and no, but the number of members without FFS is dwindling.

Depends on the lake. I would also say the guys that win/do well were winning without it also.

No, I would say we are at 50 percent with it now. I know on some events those with it that caught them will mention it. No one with FFS is dominating though

we had a guy that dominated with the hummingbird 360, especially when there was a jig bite on the rock piles. he's has moved on to Minnesota after retiring from the Navy. and have one guy in the club with the FFS but he's not been winning or dominating.

I have caught a few more but I wouldn't say dominate lol. Several guys in the club have it installed but you have to use it well to catch fish. Otherwise you are just wasting your time.

The most common trend has been for the guys that don't have FFS to complain about the guys with FFS winning even though they were winning before.

Hard to say because most everyone has FFS. Same guys that won before still win. I will say the younger guys take a lot less lumps than years past. Their learning curve is a ton shorter than us older guys.

Only a couple of our members have FFS, and so far it has not proven to be any advantage. That may be a result of the waters we fish but it has not made a difference so far.

Bigger question would be. How many members have FFS and really know how to use it. Bet the numbers are low.

There are only two guys in my club with FFS, one does OK with it his average finish is better than it used to be. The second guy ain’t never going to win even if he uses dynamite.
