My wife is actually the opposite, she wants to know where I went, what I threw, water color etc and then tells me what I did wrong, seriously.

My wife is usually with me when I go fishing so she knows what I am doing.
I usually explain how a messed up and usually get the same response "why'd you do that?"
If my wife is paying attention, she’ll know exactly where to find every bass in my favorite fishing hole and precisely what to throw at what time. I spare no details.
My wife is always whining whatever the situation, so I moved out. Then I still pay all her bills, but it is not enough she needs work to be done around the condo and being driven around.
Our daughter is extraordinary. Will do anything for her... back to line 1.
Otherwise I am ok :-)
She usually asks 'How many' or 'Any big ones'.
We have music concerts on Wednesday nights here at the beach. We went last week. Tuesday night, I asked the wife if she wanted to go to the concert or go do the Wednesday night pot luck fishing T. She said, let's go fishing. Have everything ready to go for when she gets home from work and she packs a cooler full of water and snacks. We get going and I inform her that we're only going for two hours and not a week. She says, you're going to fish and I'm going to rest and nap. I almost aborted the mission as I felt that she really didn't want to go. Well, we get there and she fished hard for two hours, never touched a snack and a drink, no bathroom runs and didn't want to leave and claims she had a blast. She did come home with a list of things to buy....... New bigger boat, them two things stinking on the back that go up and down, replace the 8" screen on the console with a 12" like the bow, new rods for her because hers aren't as smooth as mine, etc.
Mine always wants to smell my fingers. Then she asks if I've been fishing
Mine could not care less. Any if I even start in moderate detail she is lost
Most times, my wife could care less and certainly doesn't want to hear details. About the most I ever get from her is "did you catch anything?" and the only thing she wants to hear in return is either a "no" or a "yes". Anything I say after that I can start to see her eyes glazing over. Needless to say, my wife doesn't fish.
Mine doesn’t care and I don’t talk about it.

My better half will go with me occasionally, but not if it’s too cold, too hot, too windy, too cloudy, might rain, etc. She always asks if I caught anything, but has no interest in the details. Sent her a picture of a nice flathead yesterday I caught on a Ned Rig and she asked me if it was a gar…

Our conversations normally go like this:
Wife: Did you win?
Me: No I came in (fill in a # other than 1).
Wife: You suck.
Me: I know, that’s why I need to keep practicing.
Wife (with eye roll): Like that’s going to help.
