Anyone care to speculate or actually know what has happened to the owners forum? I realize viewership/ usage was way down but still it has been a fixture of our Allison community for years and hate to see it go, hopefully that's not the case. Thanks all.

I was one of the originals when Kevin from Florida started it. Was a great place until RED Allison and his minions took it over.
It went down hill fast and never recovered as they ran most of the good folks off. JMO
Ol red is an accomplished hacker. He probably dun it.
Not to mention he's been banned from multiple fishing and boating forums.

In defense- I never threatened him --- Did tell him what another gentleman claimed he would do at first sight.
After red and the hydromotive cheerleaders left was about the time facebook became popular and the boards got a lot less activity. It used to be hilarious how you couldn't say a bad thing about hydromotive props. I'll send a note and get the board fixed.

Don't guess I was around back then. What's the problem with hydromotive. I kind of like them. But don't really care one way or the other.

IMO Hydromotive wasn't the problem but a handful of others who worshiped his props.
faded off into the sunset.
Once again IMO -- he thought Allison should compensate him in some way for the board. When that didn't happen he soon grew tired of it.

I joined in 2005 and there was a member there his name was "Froggy".He helped me find my xtb-21. He was a good guy.
Kevin sold his Allison. Scott in PA purchased it. Kevin shortly walked away from the board. I was on it for years

He used to be here, too. Gave me my first 100mph boat ride at the Midwest Rally a long time ago.
Froggy was a great dude who passed. He and I talked on the phone often. He and Darris were good friends. Froggy told me things about the allison bottom that ultimately lead me to removing the lips.
