Humminbird Core model to new Minn Kota Quest Ultrex

Does anyone know if Core models are compatible with the new Quest TM? The videos say Helix but doesn’t mention Core.

I got the impression that the built-in transducer is the Minnkota MSI which it is not compatible with any Helix units older than G3 or any number series units. It comes with the two Minnkota 7-pin adapters. Those are 14-pin to 7-pin for a Helix and no adapter needed for a SOLIX/APEX.

Do you know if they will be offering the Quest without internal sonar?

From what I have seen/read there are only 2 options... The US2 and SI. From what I've seen, there doesn't appear to be a "no sonar" option.

Core units can use the 2D sonar. However I don’t see the point of paying extra money as you cant use the rest of the features of the quest without at least getting a G2 helix or more. Buy a used one if you like ,but get something to take advantage of the features of the TM. Otherwise buy the regular legacy motors.
Tell me where has a slow movin' once quick draw outlaw got to go

That would make sense, unfortunately there was a lot of issues with the legacy. I have been waiting for an updated version that will hopefully correct those issues.

Looks like the burshless Quest motors 24V/36V have either a MSI transducer or HW CHIRP transducer. DSC (Dual Spectrum CHIRP).

The 24V and 36V new motors have either MDI or DSC.
