Lake Antoine Iron Mountain MI
My father in law is from Iron mountain. He and my mother in law want to take my 2 yo son up there the first week of August. My wife will only let him go if I went also so I was thinking about flying up while they drive. They are staying at an airbnb on lake Antoine so I was thinking I'd send a rod or two with them if I go.
Anybody have any info about this lake? I'd be fishing from the shore so just give me some ideas about what to bring? Looks like it might have some grass/pads from what I've seen in the airbnb link.

lots of smallmouth and largemouth.
from shore it might be a little tricky.
topwater will be good at that time in the morning and evening.
pop r and spooks.
there is a public pier on the north side not far from the public ramp.

Ok thanks. It looks like the airbnb has a private dock. The pic showed some pads around it. So maybe I can catch a couple there.
