It's estimated the Eras Tour will generate almost $5 BILLION for local economies in the US. Wish I had gotten tickets.

I always laugh at those estimates.

When the tour is over, what exactly is worth 5 billion dollars?

The way economists use multipliers and calculate "economic impact" is pretty silly in the first place when one gets down into the details.

    But a Taylor Swift concert?

That is like money spent on a broken window.

In Australia, they're talking about the tour preventing a recession due to the spending.

You might need to have a couple of drinks and sleep on the issue before coming to that decision.

I would not pay to see her or attend for free, but if enough compensation was involved...

What is this Eras tour you speak of? Not a big fan of Taylor Swift. But to each their own.

NO. If we weren't saving for a house, I would have dropped some serious coin on stubhub for good seats. I'll get the next one though. I'm sure my niece will want to go again.

Dang I think I could waste a few hours for that. I would probably do it for $500.
