    Eyra Props

What is everyone running on their Eyra? I have a 2021 Eyra w/ a 300 Pro XS and I bought it slightly used. The guy I bought it from had a 4 blade Bravo 1 27P. Once I get water in the livewell it won't plane off unless I am by myself. I am looking at trying a 25 or 26 Fury 3 blade. I'm curious as to others experiences though. I have poles, 4 AGM batteries and a power steering pump back there along with a boat full of tackle and most of the time fuel.

What's your plug configuration on the Bravo? Is it an Xs?

@Blue Steel I'm really not sure. It doesn't say XS anywhere on it but I don't think they normally have that on it anyway. Right now I have all 4 holes plugged.

I would try some venting before I gave up on that prop maybe pull one or two plugs out and retry it

In the hotter months you will need ventilation or drop a pitch or 2.
    a 25fury or even a 26 with a 300 will probably get you around that 82-84.
elwood had a eyra 300r combo and probably has the most knowledge of props with a 300 other than the one Mr Rick Pierce (300r is a little different but he can get you in the right direction)
mist a fun boat, respect it and you will enjoy it.

Try a PowerTech 3 blade VMX 27. If you can push it to the limiter you will see around 85 and a good hole shot. Not fantastic but good.

I've never heard of them before. Their props are a good bit cheaper than most. Sometimes that means less quality. Have you had any bad experiences with them?

I have three of them. Getting 88 out of their 27 four blade, 88 out of a 29 three blade but have not really pushed it on this prop and 86-87 out of a 27 three blade. The four blade is very stiff running. I have thrown a blade or knocked it off on one of their props. Not sure if I hit a floater or slung the blade. Had been running and surfacing it for over two years.

My best suggestion on an Eyra with a slow hole shot......get rid of the weight in back & go with lithium batteries
