95 201 pro xl.

I just bought a mint 95 201 pro xl. 150 johnson fast strike. Looking to see what prop I need it has a 4 blade renegade 25 pitch on it now. 5000 WOT 50 mph. I know it will
not be a speed demon just want to make sure it has the correct prop on it.

how is the hole shot? 5000 low, lugging it likely needs to be 5700-5800-- the 25 gade is a great prop but too much likely and yours might be tired and need freshened up also after all the years of use plus too much likely on that set up ? bravo 1 based might be the way to go?? call marks propellors and he will know. he has a great bravo1 clone also .. need to watch for a good 200- 225hp engine

It was a garage find. Had not been in the water since 2016 so I don’t think it actually has been used that much. Got it home freshened all the gas lines water pump plugs several different things fired up on the 3rd crank. Hole shot isn’t bad for 20 foot boat with a 150 , and yes I do need a 200 on it

I had the same boat but 150 evinrude. Had the 25 renegade also. Had ok hole shot but seems like I turned about 5800 rpms.

I have Steve Daniels old '96 201 with a 150 faststrike. It runs a 23 Renegade with a little extra cup for bow lift. Been 59.6 on gps light load. RPM's are 5300-54. Normal-heavy load around 54-55.
