SOunds like a good opportunity for someone to sell high quality handmade gloves again. The question is are folks willing to pay $100-$200 for a well made pair?

Folks who ride motorcycles and are serious about safety will pay $200.00-300.00 or more for good gloves.

For work I wear the Mechanix gloves linked above. Depending on what I’m doing I get 3-4 months out of them. They hold up pretty well until you start digging dirt/gravel by hand then the finger tips give out. I don’t think even $200.00 glove leather will put up with that.

I like the synthetic leather ones they sell at Tractor Supply. They seem to wear well and they are cheap enough to buy multiple pairs. I keep them all over-the truck, in the barn, etc.. I also keep a pair in the wife’s car for when she has to get fuel.

Nope, all of the ones I've tried is the stitching comes undone before the leather has time to wear. Either in the palm or the finger.

I find them at Rural king. Best leather work gloves I've found.
Also make the winter gloves I use. The pigskin with the cuffs. Nothing warmer

I've tried so many it's not funny, and destroy every pair I wear. I must be hell on gloves. I'm at the point I just go to harborfriegt and get their cheapest work gloves. Interesting enough they last just as long as the expensive ones I have used.

I really like the Kinco Buffalo gloves, they start out a bit stiff but soften right up. If they didn't fall in the floor and some pups chew the fingers up, I'd still be on my first 6 year old pair.
