Have to install a point 1 for my updated lowrance units and not sure where it should be located on z119c boat. If bow or stern best location...or somewhere else.

In my opinion. Mount it on the stern. I mounted mine on the pie shaped carpeted area on the driver side. Be sure to change the source for GPS on any console mounted Lowrance unit to use the Point 1. This would not apply to any unit mounted on the bow.

I mounted mine under the deck in front of where your charger is located. In my boat, that puts the Point 1 right above the transducer. Bonus is not having to drill a hole in your boat if/when that technology changes and it works perfect there.
