    Let's talk single serve coffee

To preface I normally brew a pot, but in times of convenience or when I may want a coffee for the road I'll go with the k cup. I've found that not all are created equal and some are just way too expensive to justify
I've tried go with the sams club budget brands and they've been less than impressive. I'm a medium or light roast guy myself and really do enjoy Peets and the Black Rifle Just Black. I also do not use an additives in my coffee so it's gotta taste decent as is.m..with that being said what are some of your favorite k cups?

Any reviews on the Costco brands?

Do yourself a favor and get away from the Kuerigs. No matter what brand, flavor, or “bean” it claims to be, it’s simply nothing more than instant coffee. If you want quick, consider something like Nespresso. It’s an espresso pod machine that actually makes espresso through high pressure steam (using actual ground coffee in the pods). If you want simple coffee, just add hot water to the shot of espresso that you get (Americano), but consider espresso based drinks instead. Coffee will never be the same again.

I use and like the Kirkland (Costco) Pacific Bold K Cups.

Because I drink my coffee black, it has to be good or I would not like it.

The one that I like is Folgers Black Silk and then use one of the make your own k-cup cups. Pick your favorite coffee and make your own, way cheaper and you get what you want.

Lavazza Classico is the best I have tried. I was drinking peets before this. Their ground coffee is good too.

The Costco Pacific Bold has a great taste in my opinion.I like a bold, dark taste and the Green Mountain makes the Sumatra that is really good. I look for it on sale, on line.Folgers Black Silk is another big box one that works for us.

That's what I have been buying for the last couple of years. I look forward to that first cup every morning.

Go cut a Keurig pod open and you will see that it is most definitely not instant coffee.
