My 80 year old buddy bought a new Charger last year. Good motivation to keep on keeping on.

Took my dad last summer at 82. We caught several, he passed in January. I’ll always be glad for that day.

I have a picture of me in the boat with my great grandpa when I was maybe 5 or so. He would have been pushing 90 at the time. Had a good string of Father’s Day weekend adventures where I went back home and took my grandpa out fishing. Late 70s and probably 82 for the last one. In 2012 my grandma and grandpa came out in the boat while I musky fished and actually caught one. Their early 80s. 5 months before grandpa died I had both of them in the boat for a boat ride. Dad and I just lifted him in his wheelchair into the boat. Totally worth it and that picture hanging in my fishing room makes me smile. I believe he was 86 when he passed.

when grandpa still fished with me his feet would fall asleep so I’d always have to remind him to standup regularly HA! I’ll never forget the trip home the one high water year with incredible fishing. He didn’t even nap on the way home. Chatting and laughing the whole way. I think he was 81 or 82 then.

Take my father out as much as I can, he has his own multi species though... so sometimes he isn't up for overly hard-core bass fishing. He is 66

I'm going to be 70 this year and still fish all year. Not ever day but almost every week. I often fish with a neighbor who is 82 and does fine.

Last year I was only able to share my boat with my 88 year old uncle once but before that we went regularly. He's lost a lot of stability the last couple of years. I pray I can get him on the water at least a few times this year.

My dad passed at 89. Think the last time I took him he was around 80. He just didn’t want to go after that

92 years young...he was a Military Vet that served in Korea and Vietnam. Amazing guy that lived 9 lives. Cancer / age finally took him at age 94.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

I’m 84 and run and fish out of my own Champion. Had to take a break due to heart issues, but getting ready for spring fishing as we speak.

Fished with a great guy in our bass club, 97(boater) last Saturday. I am 80, I helped him with tying his hooks and worms. The rest of the time I spent netting his fish

Fished a tournament yesterday on the Northeast river with my buddy. It was cold, windy and rained most of the day. I'm 71 and he just turned 82. He beat my 6.90 for lunker with a 7.90. He got first place I got 2nd place and we had heavy boat. Never count us older guys out.
