Costa replacement lens...price. wow!

It been awhile since I have had them do anything. I have 2 pair of 580g that need new replacement lenses and are out of warranty. The lenses alone are now $102/pr plus 18$ shipping. Then add add in the cost for LensCrafters or authorized dealer to install. I can buy new ones on eBay and save $20. I guess so much for "reasonable" replacement. Anyone got any other ideas on new glasses?

Costas lens replacement cost has always been CRAZY on the 580G lenses.
This goes back 20 plus years that I know of.

I pay 100-130 for Costa Glass lenses currently thru a couple different online retailers. No way I’m buying replacement lenses or full retail on them currently.

Check out wiley x. 150 to 160 for a good pair. I have the Omegas and replacement lenses for them are 30. But, they are not glass lenses. I know some guys want that though. But I've been very happy with them.

I have some fantail pro 580G copper silver mirror for sale $150 TYD No scratches and used very little. I got them as a warranty replacement for my Permits and they dont fit my big head to well.

there are several companies that make replacement lenses for Costas ! check out Revent ! they make quality replacements for a lot less ! easy to change out yourself !..

Disagree. I used them twice about 15 years ago. $50. Send glasses in, get glasses back good as new.

You can go with other brands if you want. You will never have to worry about lens replacement because the frames will fall apart long before the lens need replaced.

Yeah Costa is a rip off. I had lenses replaced 20 years ago from them and the price was rediculous. While I still use Costas, I don't buy them anywhere near retail price. You can get a new pair for almost as much as the lenses cost. Just look around.
