Missing trails/waypoints

Trails and waypoint aren’t showing up. They were and the next day out they weren’t there. Unit won’t show new trail or waypoint. Doesn’t show new or old trail.
factory reset ??

Seems like there is a setting to show/hide waypoints.

Check the settings for show/hide waypoints and trails.

If they are correct, I would do a full backup first to be safe.

And then do a Soft Reset. This doesn’t wipe settings or waypoints, it basically reboots the software and often fixes weird things like missing info.

A Hard Reset is the last step as it wipes everything and puts it back to the state it came in new.

show/hide settings are in show…nothing. I had forgotten about the soft reset. Thanks for the reminder.

Same thing happens to me with trails on my GEN2 touch. Most of the time my trail from the beginning of the day will disappear and it’ll only show the last half of the day. I just chalk it up to the unit being old.

I thought about that but I can’t afford new units right now. So if a soft or hard reset doesn’t work I’ll just have to live with it.
