    EGGFLATION

I frequently eat Jimmy Dean Meat Lovers Breakfast bowls. Quick, fattening, filling, easy to add too much cheese to. Two weeks ago I was in Walmart, saw them in the freezer section for $1.75 each. Seemed like a great price I took one to a Walmart floor worker ( I found one ) and confirmed the "price was right". I bought about 8.

Went back two days ago to get some more. $2.82 each. I'll pass.

Would some of you chicken ranchers please start making more eggs soon please?

2.82 is too much for breakfast?

What do you spend on breakfast normally?

Eggs were $5.00 a dozen in B.J.s yesterday at the cheapest. Slighly larger than marbles.

As little as possible. I don't believe in throwing money away if I don't have to. I bought an 8 pack at BJ's for $16.99, averaged out to $2.13 each. I'm on a fixed (retired) income I don't get bonuses.

$2.82 is the normal price that's what they've been for a long time.

Before the pandemic JD breakfast bowls were $1.98 at Wally World. Yep, now $2.82. I really like them, quick and easy breakfast with no clean up. Got a couple breakfast bowls at Aldis last week. Were cheaper and weight was greater than JD's much more product. Tasted comparable.

Do Chinese eggs taste different from American eggs?

The thriftiness of some members is always good for a chuckle.

I would suggest eating just half a bowl a day, which makes the cost of breakfast cheaper than before

I'm not defending myself but I am frugal. I'm 80, I have money in the bank, a bass boat, just bought a new 200 HP motor for it last year (cash of course $16,000+)and I go where and when I want.
My posting was a 30% increase in my breakfast staple. A dollar a day, give or take. I consider that excessive. I eat breakfast 30 days a month or so, no big deal unless you multiply that by 366, which is ABOUT $365.00.
It's said if you watch your nickles and dimes the dollars will take care of themselves, so if $300+ is going out of my hands I watch, and try to do something about it. That's why I could walk into the dealer and plop cash money on the table, not charge it.

    Eggs=motor. Get it?

I see nothing wrong with it. If I can catch something on sale for breakfast I will buy it. If not I'll eat leftovers from dinner the night before or whatever I have in pantry/fridge. Example, today had some leftover brisket and a 50 cent yogurt.

I try to spend as little as possible. Sorry but some aren't made of money like evidently a lot on here are.

Probably not even real eggs in that highly processed cancer bowl.

There is actually some real egg in there, but otherwise you’re correct. The nutrition and ingredient list is not friendly.
