Have always had a tri fold wallet. Seems it's always has more things in it than I need. Some good alternatives posted here.

With the price of groceries the last few years mine is pretty thin.

I still have things in my wallet I’ve carried since I was 12 like my hunter safety card.

Ive got an older Cabelas brand just like you describe. 3 cards, fishing license, and a money clip. I cant stand bulky items in my pockets, even a big set of keys gets on my nerves. I havent found one i think would be better yet but im not sure you could get it anymore

I carry all the basics in a leather wallet plus a dozen of these in one of the pockets.

My chiropractor told me years ago to stop carrying wallet in back pocket. Have one of the wallets the size of a credit card with a money clip I carry in front pocket. My back issues have been a lot better since then.

I've carried the money clip style for years
And i relace them if there worn, I do have 4 decent Fossil one and 2 cheap ones I didn't like
For the price of Postage, I'd send one to anyone that needs or what's to try one

I have one of the ridge wallets, have had it for years. Keep my license, ltc, credit card and my insurance card in there along with a little cash. Love that it’s nice and small. I could never go back to a traditional wallet

Have carried a front pocket wallet for decades now but am going to jump into a Ridge style next. I despise bulky items in my pockets.

To full. According to these replies. And it's not with cash.

Actually thinned down some when I put some stuff in a new one. And made my old one the checkbook carrier.

My issue with the hard case types like Ridge was while I loved the wallet itself that hard metal does not play well with a cell phone screen. The times I inadvertently put them both in same pocket or both in a hoodie pocket I was concerned about cracking the screen.

I just ended up finding a minimalist version made from leather.

Good point to consider although I don't carry my phone in my front pocket. My work uniform pants have cargo pockets mid thigh and many of my home pants are carpenter style with a side thigh pocket. I am concerned the rigid aluminum style would not flex or give and could prove uncomfortable.

    Mainstays are:

    Two credit cards
    One bank card
    Three health insurance cards
    Drivers License
    Voters registration
    AAA card

No more local fishing license requirement once you hit 65 so eliminated it.

    Everything else eventually gets culled
