New LVS34 what do i do with the 32..

Is there a market out there to sell the 32? Should i keep it for a backup? What have you guys done with your old ones

I'd say there is a small market but doubt you would be top dollar....i kept mine for for a spare, you just never know when you might need it....

The 32 and GLS10 package was going for 900 or 1000 before Christmas. I think to sell now and it cost 500 for a GLS10, the 32 would have to be below 400 to look attractive. I have 2 32's I am going to try to sale for 300 each (at a swap and meet in Ohio coming up in march). I prefer not to keep them because if something goes wrong with my new 34's out of warranty, I will want another 34 or the next model anyway.

$300 sounds fare. Good luck selling/trading them

This is what I've seen as well, guys cant get rid of them for $400. No reason not to buy new for another $100.

Before Xmas I paid $800 for a used 32 and the box.

I sold a gls10 and lvs32 with a perspective mount to a friend for $750 when I upgraded. He’s putting it on his kayak which is pretty cool. He said lots of guys in his kayak tournament trail have it now

I sold the box and 32 for $750 when I upgraded. I thought about keeping it but like GP said, if the 34 fails I'll replace it with another 34 or the next model

Why are you guys selling the box too? You can use the 34 with the 32 box right?

Yes the 34 can be used with the "old" box......I think some guys were thinking if they buy the 34 they can get the whole box and ducer new with a warranty vs just transducer with a warranty.

This ^^^ plus a guy looking for a 32 transducer is going to need a box. Sold quicker as a package in my opinion

This is why I did it. Not many guys out there with a GLS10 already that are looking for an outdated transducer. Most of the crowd buying these are looking to get into FFS tech at a discount (which I don’t blame them at all) and want the whole kit. My 2 cents anyway

A lot of ways to look at it. Someone can buy my used transducers for a good price and buy a new brain (GLS10) and be in the game cheaper than all new. So they may feel better about that. And if my units don't sale, I am out a lot less holding onto two transducers instead of two transducers and two GLS10's.
