    Hds gen 2 to hds live?

    Just curious if I bought just a head unit will the power cord and transducer from the gen2 work fine?

    The power cord will work, the transducer would require a 7 to 9 pin adapter. Given that you are upgrading to a significantly better unit, why saddle it with a 10 year old transducer? They do get old and lose effectiveness over time. Personally, for a new Live, I'd get a new 9 pin transducer.
