    Your favorite fishing attractant/scent

I prefer some type of attractant on the soft plastics I buy. I usually cook some in or add later to the plastics I shoot myself.

I like the garlic or the anise from Bang quite a bit. Use some of the Smelly Jelly stuff too. I like the Hog Tonic garlic but it seems to fade out quicker scent wise.

I wish I knew what Beast Coast uses on their newer plastics as it's the best I have seen. I tried to make a homemade version of it without much success.

Spike It marker pen garlic with the mixed in salt of whatever plastic is being used. If you have confidence in something when it works you're hooked.

Chum 'n Rub...the fish bite on a bare hook! Just kidding, but your post for some reason reminded me of that stuff. I usually just wind up buying the Strike King plastics with the infused coffee scent.

I use Don Harper's scents. I put a drop or two in my bags the week I plan to go out. The scent seems to linger my rod lockers will attest to that.

Also the clear JJ's Magic garlic scent during the spring.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

I’m pretty convinced the maxscent is the real deal. I feel like I’m able to get more bites even though the action of maxscent plastics isn’t really impressive to me (strange combination of firm yet tears easily plastics).

I’ve got some spray on scents, baitfuel, spike it, but when I’m fishing I rarely ever use the stuff for whatever reason

Scent works for catfish. I'm skeptical when it comes to bass.

I don't think its a huge deal, but I think it can get an extra bite or two. Especially with smallies.

Charmer baits has some strong stuff on theirs, but they catch fish. Just don't open them in your house or vehicle.

So do I, mostly because I dig having Chartreuse carpet. That stuff is super volatile when it is warm and will jump right out of the jar.

Jack’s Juice was the best I’ve ever used. Unfortunately they went out of business. I’m down to my last couple cans.
