93sv uhd depth auto setting help

The "auto depth" range constantly resets immediately/doesn't stay on auto:

This has happened to me twice and one time I powered it off and restarted but no luck.
Example: split screen- down imaging- 30 feet of water -it only displays 18-30+\- ft range
click on auto it works for a few seconds and back to the 18-30+/- ft range.

Any help or suggestions?
