Don't see why they wouldn't create some structure. I see all the time though structure added to ponds that end up doing nothing.

I see creating fish structure questions come from time to time on here. Is it legal to do in the south on public waters? It sure isn’t here in Michigan unless you get a permit.

I have thought of that also. I think if you took some sandpaper, etc., and roughed it up good, the algae would grow on it a lot faster.

There's a fine line between creating fish habitat and littering.

I might should have said commodes instead of toilets, with the way the commode are built , they maybe resemble low cost, lifetime fish condominiums, place to get in and out of the wind , waves, just having a little fun here, thanks

It will make a great YouTube video when Karen goes off on you for throwing a toilet in by her dock.

They do it all the time down here. Even if not legal not much can be done about it if they don't see you doing it.

So, should we start looking for tall trees and short ropes?

Or is this type of crime ok with the law abiding BBC members?

Toilets are OK, but I always liked the treasure chest that opened when the bubbles lifted the lid.

Not by me. But I’m kind of a nature lover. As far as the OP and his pond, well it’s his I guess. If it’s porcelain it’s at least safe, so long as the toilet is stripped bare. If it’s ceramic it might not be safe, many ceramics can leach lead. So not good for the pond.

Fill it with dog food and it will be a fish magnet for several months.
