    oil filter ???

    2022 75elpt45 3b159416 My Merc dealer sold me a oil filter number 35-8M0162829. It is not the number I thought it should be 877761Q01.
    Is the deal right about the oil filter?

    8M0162829 is indeed the correct filter for your engine serial number. ALWAYS look it up in the Parts Catalog (don't rely on info from other engines... as that other filter was used on a previous model powerhead).
