The leaves should be awesome.
The Rampant Lion. Middle of nowhere. Irish bar/restaurant. Killer bourbon selection.
Alamo Steakhouse and The Peddler have always been our favorite.
The whole area is a tourist trap.
Leave are turning early this year. Might be past peak by then.

Local Goat
^^^^ Local Goat for sure. Be sure to make reservations the day before if you want to get in. Smoky Mountain Brewery is another of our go to restaurants.

The whole place is a tourist trap. Being close by in Knoxville we used to go during off season when no crowds. Now there is never an off season time with no crowds. It’s one of those deals where we love going but never go cause traffic is so bad all the time it’s not worth it. Good luck during peak leave season.

J.T. Hannah's, Old Mill, Calhoun's restaurants. Mel's Diner for a banana split to die for. Many great shows: Hatfield's and McCoys, Dixie Stampede, Magic Show, Comedy Barn to name a few. Be sure you visit the island near the Ferris Wheel, especially at night when the water shooting up is in different colors and usually music there too!
If you like knives, be sure to visit Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Pigeon Forge.
i'm 40 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Sevierville and 1 hr from Gatlinburg. Would not want to be closer. Too crowded for my taste.
good luck.

Not a place I would want to live but a visit here and there I dont mind. Gotta admit I like the tourist trap crap every now and then. Good getaway.
