Solix temp help please

I noticed my water temp is not working now. I was having depth issues previously and it seemed to magically fixed itself.

Now it’s my temp sensor now working.

Screen overlay is blank is that box on my Solix g3 with latest software.

When I go to source and choose to manually configure it says none…

When I chose auto I get nothing.


Anything else I can do ?

sounds like a 2d transducer problem. You didn't mention your setup. If it's a shoot thru, you may be having a transducer failure.
Since it's a G3, I'd call Humminbird customer service under warranty.
Everything on a Solix depends upon a good 2D depth signal. Without it, it just goes nuts with problems.

So the water temp is taken from the shoot they transducer ? Just curious since I am using their Si and a Y cable to a pick also

Depends on how your boat is rigged, but most do. The y cable stops the signal from the Si/DI-2D and the 2d shoot thru plugs Into the y. If they left you enough cable on your SI/DI cable that plugs Into the Y. You can connect it (SI/DI-2D) straight to the solix. It will work at slow speed, but will quit like your Si/DI signal when you get on pad. It is a good test to confirm problems with 2d shoot thru.
