    Tilt/Trim Issue

    2014 VF250

    I noticed a leak from one of the cylinders on my tilt/trim unit. I ordered parts and watched a few videos of DIY which I'm comfortable with doing.

    Question..... how do I support or lock the engine? I don't have a support lever

    Just confused of how to lock the engine in the upward position and get pressure of the tilt/trim assembly

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Right or wrong, I have used a piece of steel pipe ran through the area the support lock would sit without any issues
