I just bought a spare tire for my 2002 21XL Magnum trailer. How do these mount? I see that it goes under the bow of the boat, but not sure what mounting hardwares to use.

There should be a 4 or 5 inch steel "J" hook with threads that match the lug nuts (1/2", I believe). Put the spare in the cradle, run the "J" hook up through a lug hole in the wheel and add a locking lug nut. I crank my spare to 70 lb. ft.
Does your mount cross bar have a single hole about 1/2'' diameter in it? Something like this. They make locks for them too.

This is what I used. One word of advice is if you put a lock on it make sure you oil the lock and check the function of it once per year. I had my lock on for a few years and when it came time to unlock it there was so much rust inside the lock I could not get it to unlock. Every year I take one day and go over my boat and trailer and inspect everything. Now part of my routine includes putting oil on my spare tire lock and open/close it checking the function.
