    Jack plate question

    Would there be any disadvantages to adding 2” spacers to a 4” Z lock vs using a 6” Z lock ?
    2021 rt188p , Mercury 115 Pro XS CT , Croxton Razor 4XLR 22 , Z lock 4” jack plate , 8’ power pole blades

    I kinda did that when I installed the Sandwich Brackets for my Talons. But I do not know if it made any difference as I installed all my add-ons before the first splash.
