    Question Set upper trim limit?

    CWhen i have to go through shallow water i like to trim my motor high to maie sure i don't hit anything, but this new 2021 Mercury pro XS 250 (# 3B010400) doesn't trim high at all when im going fast, is there a way to change that?

    I believe the new motors won't go past a certain height/angle above 2000 RPM.

    Correct. There is a trim limit programmed into the PCM, and while it can be adjusted with the G3 Diagnostic System, it is limited in how far it can go up without limiting engine power.
