Hope there are no casualties. Things getting destroyed is bad, but they can be replaced. Still shocks me there is speculation some surfers are going to try and surf through this.

Wife has an aunt in Ft Myers and I have a good friend in Chipley so far they are good.
Hopefully its not as bad as they are saying.
The ones to worry about are all the people that have moved down here and have never been through a hurricane, much less one of this destructive power. Be prepared to be without power for long periods of time, local flooding, and lots of shortages. I would imagine it's like getting caught in a blizzard but without the snow. And you don't have to shovel rain....
Check out the tides ripping sideways.
Good luck, be safe and Godspeed

Eyewall is looking like it’s going straight over my house in the next hour or so. Predicted surge is 12-18 ft after the wind blows through. My FFE at my home is a 9 so that would be 3-9 for inside the home. Just horrible. So many lives will change today.
For all. Stay safe everyone.
My son is in Tampa he went to Miami until things settle down

You can always catch a few on a bridge right?
Still a lot of cams up if you search Tampa and filter to "live".
My cousin is in Port St Lucie, and they have been dealing with tornados from this storm. Praise the Lord, no major damage in the area or to people.
My friend Gary is North of Sebring, and they are told to just stay in home, but he has done many preparations, so we pray that everyone will be well after this storm.
