    Garmin side image ??

I have a 1222 at bow that I use with LiveScope. I am gonna put a 94xsv at console. I want this so it can share waypoints. I also want good side imaging. What transducer do I need with 94xsv? Also I have a RT188 with trim tabs, will this hurt quality of side image?? Thank You!!

Is the 94 xsv you mentioned an Echomap UHD unit??? If so, it wont share waypoints with the 1222 unit, you will need another GPSmap unit to network like the GPSmap 943xsv.

Trim tabs, if it what i'm thinking of, i could be an issue unless you get the ducer lower than they are. Is this an aluminum boat?? Any pics of what you have in the back??

1222 have two network port, so use it like this: gt56 into 942 xsv and network cable to 1222 and livescope into 1222. All views in both units will be in Your hands, no matter what unit.

This is a GT54 on an RT188. Side imaging is good out to about 100 ft. A little dim after that. I hear the GT56 is better at the long distances. You can see that I moved as far away from the trim tabs as I could without getting into the water stream across the prop.
The spray is small compared to the LSS2 transducer it replaced, but still noticeable. I can get on plane readings (2D sonar) up to 30ish MPH.
I have this connected to an Echomap 93sv UHD at the console which is Ethernet connected to an Echomap 10 ultra at the bow. The 10 inch has LiveScope on motorized pole and GT54 transducer on trolling motor.

BTW: I am glad I took this picture this morning. I just returned from a trip on the Lower White river where I was constantly working against obstruction and current. I notice the transducer is askew and one of my bunks is rotated. Gotta fix that.

Here a couple from yesterday. Fish crib in Wisconsin. Gt 54 quick install on the trolling motor. No fine tuning. Out of the box settings.

I have a GT56 on my twin console 943xsv units. I have the side imaging split between left and right units. Fantastic image, better than humminbird mega SI IMO

Image is better with the 56 than the 54. I have the 56 mounted on my troller
